My goal in this work is to foster a catechesis rooted in its own history while continuing to grow in fresh and invigorating ways, especially at a time of "New Evangelization." A natural paradigm is the exploration of catechesis in the life of the contemporary Church in light of some of our historical foundations. Awareness of these foundations affords us the opportunity to employ life lessons derived by our forebears as we catechize and evangelize today.
